Jr Process Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Jr Process Engineer to join our growing Process Engineer team. As a Jr Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the process design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level engineer to gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to the success of our organization.
- Collaborate with senior process engineers and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes in accordance with Dayton Lamina standards and best practices.
- Collect and analyze data related to process performance, product yield, and equipment reliability to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting process issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to minimize production downtime and defects.
- Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process enhancements that lead to increased productivity and cost savings.
- Minimum of Associates degree in Engineering or Technical related field.
- Strong academic foundation in engineering principles, process design, and relevant technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and present findings.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards skill development.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
- Internships, co-op experiences, or academic projects related to process engineering will be considered a plus.
