Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced precision high speed surface grinder machinist to work 2nd shift (3:30pm – 12:00am).

Responsibilities:

Perform set-up and operation of all grinding capabilities to various tool steels, including but not limited to: flat grinding, complex intricate shape grinding
Operate in a low-speed and high-speed production environment
Must be able to work to close tolerances in the range of .0001" - .0002"
Ability to successfully achieve fine finishes
Ability to work overtime when required, including weekends
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

Moderate math skills, including geometry
Mechanically inclined
Ability to read blueprints

Experience/Education:

High School diploma or GED

Background in a manufacturing environment a plus, but not required
