Dayton Lamina Operations Status

Our Dayton Lamina facilities are currently running.

Dayton Lamina has manufacturing and office facilities in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. These states have issued Stay At Home Orders for all businesses unless those businesses are deemed Essential under the US Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

We have reviewed the CISA definitions as well as consulted with our legal counsel to confirm that Dayton Lamina is an Essential Business. Further, we have received numerous letters and communications from our customers requesting we confirm that we are still in operation and that they are Essential and thus Dayton Lamina should be considered essential.

The safety of our employees is our first priority. Weeks ago we had implemented changes in our operations to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus. We are now taking those initial actions multiple steps further with additional cleaning, Social Distancing and other actions.

Dayton Lamina Response to COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,

With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, governments and businesses have taken measures to help contain the spread of the virus and protect public safety. Dayton Lamina is committed to minimizing the impact to its customers, while also taking every necessary precaution to protect the health of its employees. Please know that we take this responsibility very seriously.

The Dayton Lamina management team is meeting on a daily basis to review changes in the global situation in order to take proactive action to mitigate the impact to our customers. A number of weeks ago we started taking actions and creating plans in response to the COVID-19 virus which have included but not limited to:

  • Communicating to employees regularly (social distancing; personal hygiene; etc)
  • Increased cleaning of common areas as well as production/office areas
  • Greatly reduced visitors to our facilities and our sales team to our customers
  • Moving Customer Facing positions to work from home in order to ensure communication
  • Recovery plan developed if there is a confirmed COVID-19 case in our facility

We recognize these are uncertain times and we are focused on our employees and you, our customers. We greatly appreciate your business and your continued commitment to us as your supplier. Our team is here to support you and we will work together to manage through this short-term situation.
