Lamina’s Precision Guide Post (LS1) for ball-bearing assemblies are made from chrome alloy steel, hardened to provide maximum protection against tracking and accelerated wear.
Ground to a high degree of tolerance accuracy that also provides a smooth hard wearing surface to assure free rolling of balls to maintain constant, predictable preload and complete interchangeability, not only with our own but other manufacturers’ also.
Attach a Cage Stopper (page 13) to allow the ball bearing cage to rotate when not in preload position. The Cage Stopper is a good option when cage travel required is more than what is available with our traditional ball bearing cages.
